Cozy Fall Soups

Fall is my favorite season for so many reasons! It used to be a toss up with spring, but I’ve officially decided that fall takes the cake. In the spring everyone tries to rush the spring dresses and shorts when really it’s too cold still and that’s just uncomfortable for everyone. I feel as though you can ease more comfortably into fall. You also have the buzz of the holidays to look forward to. Plus, I don’t know about you, but the change of weather and the brisk cool air are good for my soul. It’s a healthy change of pace and for some weird reason I feel like I can just breathe better. Thoughts on Halloween

So, I hesitate to write this today, because I know it will most likely offend some of you and there is a good chance many of you will probably disagree with me (which is totally fine). Even though it’s after the fact, I can’t shake this strong tugging on my heart to share with you my thoughts on Halloween. Before I start though, let me preface this with reminding you of how precious you are. If you are someone who enjoys Halloween I don’t think you’re a terrible person or evil or whatever. Delight-fall Flavors

Stepping out of a brisk fall breeze and into a warm kitchen bursting with scents of pumpkin, cinnamon and apples swirling through the air is nearly unbeatable this time of year. I crave that twinkle of excitement for fall and all that it encompasses…college football and tailgate food, pumpkins, apples, hay bales, the kaleidoscope colors of falling leaves and of course, comfort food.
