Do you know how valuable you are?

To the person reading this who feels consistently overlooked and unimportant. To the one who finds the daily grind empty and unfulfilling, dreading tomorrow. You feel like nobody notices the real you or cares for that matter. The girl who walks the halls at school feeling the heat of mean stares. To the mom who feels alone, overworked, and scared. To the girl who feels like no good-looking man wants her because she is modest and wants to remain pure. The one who feels overwhelmed, walked on, and like your work doesn’t matter. To the one who feels friendless.

You need to know tonight, that YOU do matter. Your life matters. You are sooooo precious. You are a rockstar. You are beautiful. You are smart. You are strong. You are brave. I’m carrying a message for you tonight. You don’t realize how much God cherishes you and dotes on you. You are not alone out there.

It doesn’t matter where you find yourself right now…it doesn’t matter what you’ve done or where you’ve been. It doesn’t matter who’s failed you in this life or if you have found yourself failing over and over again. There is One who will never fail you ready to walk through life with you. He will never miss an opportunity to be with you. He will never ditch you or leave you hanging. He won’t miss your big moments or a chance to celebrate with you. He won’t leave you on your worst days where you feel like hiding from the world. He isn’t embarrassed of you or critical. He walks through the valleys with you.

He sees how you’ve been hurting. He sees the goodness in you, things that nobody else cares to take the time see. He sees vulnerability and beauty. He sees your your heart and how it yearns for more, but feels like it can’t break through the barriers that surround you. It’s time to break through.

God doesn’t want your money. He doesn’t want you to just go through the motions of Christianity. What He wants is your heart. Besides all the yucky stuff you’re ashamed of and that causes you to stumble, He doesn’t want to take from you. He wants to add to your life. He wants you to open up to Him raw and unfiltered. He wants to help you and be there for you. He is the One person who can understand your whole situation. The only One who knows you better than anyone on this planet. He’s memorized you. He has the answers, wisdom, comfort, shelter, and love you’ve been searching for. Let Him show you what He sees when He looks upon you. Press into His strength and His love. Press in tonight.

The Bible says that if we draw near to Him, that He will draw near to us (James 4:7). He is waiting, with arms extended towards you. Shelter awaits. Rest awaits. Acceptance in Him awaits. Will you take a step back in fear, thinking this isn’t for you OR will you step forward, towards Him? Be brave. The next move is yours. What will it be?
